 BALOCHISTAN: BRAS Claims Responsibility for Lethal Attacks in Khuzdar


QUETTA — The Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), an umbrella organization of Baloch armed groups, has officially claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated, heavy attacks targeting Pakistani military convoys in the Zehri and Bulbul areas of Khuzdar district.

According to a formal media release issued by BRAS central spokesperson, Baloch Khan, the operational engagements were executed in strategic, multiple phases:

🔹 The Morning Ambush: At approximately 7:00 AM, field fighters launched a synchronized ambush from multiple directions on an advancing military convoy in the Bulbul area. BRAS reports that eight military personnel were killed on the spot, one operational vehicle was completely destroyed, and the convoy was forced to retreat.

🔹 The Afternoon Clashes: In a secondary wave later that afternoon, fighters intercepted reinforcing units deploying heavy armor, including tanks and armored vehicles. The group claims to have inflicted severe damage on an armored personnel carrier alongside causing additional casualties.

Spokesperson Baloch Khan verified that BRAS commands full operational responsibility for the planning and execution of these high-intensity attacks. Military officials have not yet released an official casualty count or situational briefing regarding the incident.
