In the name of security, the Baloch identity has been turned into a mark of suspicion across the country. Wherever Baloch people live, in Dera Ghazi Khan, Karachi, or Balochistan, they continue to face systematic state repression.
Baloch civilians in Balochistan are being subjected to drone attacks and airstrikes, while Baloch communities who have lived in Karachi for generations are increasingly harassed, raided, and targeted. 
Maripur, Lyari, and other Baloch-populated areas are facing continuous raids and operations, with many people being forcibly disappeared.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee social media campaign aims to break the silence around these abuses, amplify the voices of affected families, and bring attention to enforced disappearances and persecution in Karachi. I urge everyone to join the BYC campaign and raise their voice against this oppression.
The right to live is a right of every human being. End enforced disappearances. Stop using security as a justification for the persecution and destruction of the Baloch people.
